These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of Buildex (the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

1. The Service

Buildex is a change-order pricing tool for contractors: you enter line items, configure markup rules, and generate branded, client-ready change order documents.

2. Accounts

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and password. One account per user; there is no team or multi-user sharing.

3. Subscriptions & billing

Paid plans are billed monthly in advance. Paddle.com acts as Merchant of Record for all payments made through the Service and handles payment processing, tax, and invoicing on our behalf.

4. Acceptable use

• Do not use the Service for any unlawful purpose.
• Do not attempt to disrupt, reverse engineer, or gain unauthorized access to the Service.
• Do not use the Service to store or transmit content you do not have the right to use.

5. Your content

You retain all ownership rights to the change orders, line items, branding, and other content you create in the Service. You grant Buildex a limited license to host, store, and process that content solely to provide the Service to you.

6. Cancellation

You may cancel a paid plan at any time from the Billing page; access continues until the end of the current billing period.

7. Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Buildex's total liability arising from your use of the Service is limited to the amount you paid in the trailing 12 months.

8. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after a change constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

9. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Buildex is established.
